Personal Assistant/Secretary, 04/04-12/04
Personally interviewed clients for pet sitting business and assessed
the needs of their animal. Set appointments for clientele and maintained
customer satisfaction through follow-ups. Managed deposits on 3 merchant
accounts. Used MS Excel for input of clientele database. Produced
all print ads for anesthesia-free canine teeth cleaning and pet-sitting
service.

Answered inbound calls and assessed needs of clients. Used MS Word
and Excel for clientele data entry and filed clientele’s case

Web Designer/Graphic Designer, 12/97-05/03
Designed e-commerce website using Dreamweaver and HTML code. Produced
and optimized graphic designs for online content incorporating graphic
user interface (GUI) features. Edited copy layouts for print and web
materials. Converted on-line website onto a CD-ROM (6,000 pages),
which includes an auto start feature, videos, and a search engine.
Created trade show banners and company signage. Photographed products.
Designed packaging for products, CD covers, and CD labels. Designed
ads from concept to completion for Newport’s catalog and vendor
magazines. Served as liaison between Newport’s marketing department
and outside vendors for quotes on marketing materials and prepared
ads for prepress. Created manuals which include technical illustrations
using Illustrator. Converted product manuals from Quark format to
PDF (Acrobat) format for website as a downloadable file. Archived
electronic files upon completion. Independently managed all marketing
materials and maintained website.

Designed e-commerce website using HTML code. Created original ads
and animated banners for website. Produced interactive advertisement
on Macworld Magazine’s CD-ROM for promotional sales using Macromedia

catalog. Retouched and color corrected images for print/web using
Photoshop.
